UPT APPLICANTS (you are not a fighter pilot yet)
Minimum qualifications to apply:
20/70 vision, correctable to 20/20, and be free of color blindness
Meet Air Force height and weight requirements
Applicant must be physically fit and able to run 1 ½ miles in under 12 minutes
Under the age of 33 prior to beginning flight training
The following is the list of required documents for a UPT application package:
-UPT PowerPoint Summary (see pilot files page)
-Certified College Transcripts
-Flight Certificates (if possessed/pilot license not required)
-Resume to include Work Experience and Education
-3 letters of recommendation (from former employers, instructors, friends, etc.)
-Current Physical (FAA 1st Class Medical, Flying Class I, etc.)
-Air Force Officer Qualification Test Scores (AFOQT)
-Test of Basic Aviation Skills Test Scores (TBAS)
-Pilot Candidate Selection Method Test Scores (PCSM)
-Form 18 (see pilot files page)
-Recent digital photograph
Copies of all documents are acceptable. PDF is the preferred document format besides the PPT.

If you’re planning on attending a meet and greet at the squadron and do not have a military ID please reference the Visitor Access Form below. Include the “Duration” from Section I and all of Section II and email to the address above no later than one week prior to your scheduled visit.
If you have a military ID the form below is not required but please still coordinate your visit via the email above.
Visitors are welcome to come and go as they please during meet and greets provided they have RSVP'd ahead of time. Attendees without a military ID should enter through the Mississippi gate to Buckley Air Force Base and then proceed to the squadron. More data will be sent out via email in the weeks/months prior to our meet and greets.
